The Mission of the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard is to collect and distribute food products and other necessities of life for needy persons in Gloucester, to support and encourage reform and social change that would eliminate the need for emergency food assistance, and to treat all persons involved with the Food Cupboard with due respect and dignity regardless of gender, race, age, religion or sexual orientation.
News: Looking for people who would like to help us and and get exercise at the same time!Come to the Food Cupboard after Thanksgiving to pick up a walking route (1 - 2 hours per person) complete with map. Deliver the letters at your convenience sometime in the month of October. You can help make a difference! Here are some of our Fundraising Results:1. Fill-A-Bus - $491 in cash donations, 140 paper grocery bags full of food. 2. Yard Sale - $1328.89 in profit Thanks so much to all of our wonderful donors and volunteers.
